Al Khaleej and Al Riyadh played out a goalless draw at Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd Stadium, with the hosts dominating possession but unable to find a breakthrough against a stubborn visiting defence. The standout moment came early, when Al Riyadh's main attacking outlet Mahmoud Trezeguet had to be withdrawn just 14 minutes in, replaced by Hassan Al-Ali. Chances were scarce all afternoon. Al Khaleej edged the underlying numbers with more shots and a higher expected-goals tally, and Kiki Kouyaté was named Player of the Match for his commanding display at the back.
