Al Kholood pulled off one of round four's biggest upsets, beating a star-studded Al Ahli SC 3-1 at home despite being second best for long spells. The hosts made their few chances count, sealing it with two late goals after Al Ahli had fought back to level. Iker Kortajarena opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, assisted by Coba da Costa, before Ivan Toney leveled for the visitors in the 66th minute.
