Belgrano vs Racing Club

Racing Club silenced the Gigante de Alberdi with a 2-1 away win over Belgrano, ending the hosts' unbeaten home record on matchday 12 of the Apertura. Adrián "Toto" Fernández opened the scoring on 29 minutes with a curling strike inside the far post — his first goal for the club. Belgrano had the chance to level before half-time after VAR spotted a handball, but keeper Facundo Cambeses denied Uvita Fernández from the spot. The hosts did equalise early in the second half when Lucas Zelarayán fired in from range on 54 minutes. The parity was short-lived. Marco Di Césare rose unmarked at the far post to head home just six minutes later, and Cambeses stood tall with a string of saves to protect the lead. The win lifts Racing to within two points of the top of their zone ahead of the clásico against Independiente, while Belgrano squandered the chance to climb to first.
