Beşiktaş J.K. vs Erzurumspor FK

Besiktas made light work of Erzurumspor at home, wrapping up the contest inside the first half hour and coasting from there. It extended their perfect home record under Vincenzo Italiano to six wins from six, with the Black Eagles rarely looking troubled from start to finish. The breakthrough came in the 20th minute when Emirhan Topçu headed home from an Orkun Kökçü corner, and Besiktas doubled up soon after through Leandro Trossard, who finished off a cutback in the 27th minute for his first goal in the club's colors. İlhan Fakılı came off the bench to add a third in the 81st minute via a deflected cross. VAR chalked off two further goals, with Trossard denied for handball and Václav Cerny ruled out for a foul, while Kökçü and Salih Özcan picked up yellow cards. The win lifted Besiktas to 12 points and top spot, with a game still in hand, keeping their strong start to the campaign rolling. For Erzurumspor, it was a tough afternoon offering little to build on.
