Egypt U19 vs Oman U19

Egypt U19 wrapped up their May training camp in style, defeating Oman U19 2–1 at Masar Club Stadium on May 17 — a carbon copy of the result from their first encounter three days earlier. Under coach Wael Riyad, the Young Pharaohs showed consistency and purpose across both meetings. Youssef Sobhi and Ali Al-Jarhi were the men on the scoresheet for Egypt, giving their side a two-goal cushion. Oman showed resilience and pulled one back to set up a nervy finish, but Egypt held firm to complete a deserved victory. Sweeping a double-header 2–1 twice over provides real momentum for Egypt U19 ahead of the Africa U20 Cup qualifiers, a competition the hosts will be expected to progress through. For Oman, the camp in Egypt offered competitive exposure against a well-drilled opponent, though they head home with two losses and plenty to work on.
