Eyüpspor vs Gaziantep FK

Gaziantep FK snapped up their first win of the season with a 1-0 victory at Eyupspor, riding out a second-half red card to hold on for all three points in Istanbul. The game stayed goalless until the 60th minute, when Deian Sorescu collected the ball wide on the edge of the box, cut past his marker and curled a left-footed finish into the far corner. Just four minutes later, Gaziantep were reduced to ten men after Juninho Bacuna was initially cautioned for a midfield foul on Yao, only for VAR to intervene and upgrade it to a straight red. Eyupspor pushed hard for an equalizer and came closest deep into stoppage time, when Yao fired just wide from a Michalak cross. The result leaves Eyupspor still searching for their first points of the campaign after two rounds, while Gaziantep FK move to four points and their maiden win, showing real resolve to close out the match a man down.
