Eyüpspor vs Rizespor
Match Report
Çaykur Rizespor produced a stunning smash-and-grab, beating Eyüpspor 2-0 away at the Necmi Kadıoğlu Stadium despite spending most of the second half down to ten men. The visitors defended resolutely and made their chances count to leave the hosts empty-handed on home turf.
Ali Sowe put Rizespor ahead in the 21st minute on the counter. Just before the break, Valentin Mihaila saw red in the 44th minute for a reckless challenge — moments after Moustapha Sagnan's initial red card for a last-man foul was overturned to yellow following a VAR review. Despite the numerical disadvantage, ten-man Rizespor held on and struck again deep into stoppage time, Emre Can Bulut sealing it in the 90+2nd minute.
The win lifts Rizespor to 9 points and offers real momentum on the road, while Eyüpspor stay stuck on 3 points, still without a home win this season and left to rue their inability to break down ten men.
