Hungary U18 vs Qatar U18

Hungary U18 opened their Croatia training tournament with a cagey 0-0 draw against Qatar U18 in Zaprešić, a tight, chance-starved contest that never quite broke into the open. Neither side found the breakthrough despite both looking to dictate the tempo, and the standout moment of the afternoon was really the absence of one - a stalemate reflecting two well-organized defensive units cancelling each other out. There were no goals to report, and no cards or major flashpoints either, with both goalkeepers largely untroubled by clear-cut chances across the ninety minutes. It was the kind of low-event draw that comes from two sides still finding their rhythm early in a busy week of fixtures. For head coach Gergő Jeremiás's side, the point is a measured start to a tournament that also includes games against Algeria and Italy, a chance to test a squad fresh off the U17 group's promotion to League A against Qatar's possession-based, Spanish-influenced style. For Qatar, it's a solid defensive marker before their remaining group fixtures.
