Juventus vs Atalanta BC

Juventus put a rocky start to the season behind them with a composed 2-0 win over Atalanta at the Allianz Stadium, dominating for long stretches while riding a couple of big moments at either end to seal it. Conceição broke the deadlock in the 28th minute, sliding in at the back post to turn home a low cross from Çelik with his left foot for his first goal of the campaign. Atalanta had chances to level things, and felt they should have had a penalty when Kalulu caught Rowe, but referee Zufferli waved it away. After the break Kolo Muani bailed his side out with a goal-line clearance off a Kristensen header before Bremer made the game safe in the 77th minute, heading home a Zhegrova corner. The win lifts Juventus to 10 points, just three off the early pace-setters, while Atalanta slump to a third straight defeat and some serious questions to answer.
