Antwerp made it six points from six as they cruised past Kortrijk 0-3 at the Guldensporenstadion, with Anthony Valencia the standout performer thanks to a first-half opener and a second-half clincher. Kortrijk actually started the brighter side, with Shandre Campbell squandering a couple of gilt-edged early chances that might have changed the whole complexion of the match. Valencia broke the deadlock in the 31st minute, pouncing after a poor Kortrijk clearance fell straight into his path. Matthew Anderson picked up a yellow card for a rough challenge on the striker soon after. Campbell again failed to convert good openings after the break before Valencia struck again in the 65th minute on the counter, and Rein Van Helden added a third in the 80th from a corner to put the result beyond doubt. The win keeps Antwerp perfect and top of the table after beating a second promoted side in as many games. For Kortrijk, it's back-to-back 3-0 defeats to open the season, leaving them pointless and bottom, still searching for their first goal and first point.
