Larne's European adventure ended in the cruelest way at Inver Park, as Lincoln Red Imps tore up a 2-0 aggregate deficit with a stunning late show to win 0-3 and advance in the Conference League play-off. Having controlled the tie for so long, Larne watched it slip away in a frantic closing spell that turned the tie on its head.
The visitors broke the deadlock through Kike Gomez in the 82nd minute before Manu Toledano doubled their night's tally just three minutes later, dragging the aggregate score level and forcing extra time. Larne's misery deepened when Montel Gibson was sent off for a second yellow card, leaving them to survive the additional 30 minutes a man short.
