Life FC vs National Defense

Life FC snapped a miserable run of four straight defeats with a convincing 3-1 victory over Tiffy Army at Life Stadium in the CPL Relegation Round. After a cagey first half ended goalless, the hosts came out firing after the break with a blistering second-half display. Life FC broke the deadlock in the 71st minute before doubling their lead just seven minutes later. Tiffy Army pulled one back but it proved nothing more than a consolation as the hosts added a third to put the result beyond doubt. Two yellow cards for Life FC were the only blemishes on an otherwise dominant home performance. The win is a lifeline for Life FC, who had shipped ten goals across their previous four outings in the relegation group. For third-placed Tiffy Army, it's a missed opportunity to pull clear of the teams below them in the battle for survival.
