North Macedonia U19 vs Slovenia U18

Slovenia U18 completed a dominant double over North Macedonia U19 in Strumica, winning the second friendly 4-0 to round off a hugely impressive two-match tour. Kristjan Kozar was the star of the show, netting twice before half-time to effectively settle the contest. Kozar opened the scoring in the 33rd minute and doubled the lead just seven minutes later. Florijan Mežnar, on target in the opening match too, added a third in the 69th minute before Tilen Letonja put the gloss on a fine display in the 83rd. No red cards or penalties complicated proceedings — Slovenia U18 were simply clinical from start to finish. Back-to-back wins — a 3-1 success on May 26 followed by this convincing 4-0 — made for an ideal warm-up for coach Mišo Brečko's squad. For North Macedonia U19, the two defeats underline the need for sharper defensive organisation before their next assignment.
