OGC Nice vs Le Mans

Nice and Le Mans shared the points in a tense 1-1 draw at the Allianz Riviera, with Elye Wahi's stoppage-time leveler sparing Olivier Pantaloni's side from another defeat. Le Mans, unbeaten and full of confidence, had led for much of the first half after a stunning long-range strike. Adil Bourabaa opened the scoring in the 13th minute, curling a shot into the far corner after Nice lost possession deep in their own half. Nice hit back just before the break, Wahi rounding goalkeeper Ewen Hatfout in the 44th minute after a pass from Sofiane Diop. Louis Mafouta went close to snatching a late winner for the visitors, heading wide and later clipping the outside of the post. No cards were shown. The result leaves Nice still searching for a first win under Pantaloni, taking their second point of the campaign. Le Mans, by contrast, remain unbeaten and continue to punch above their weight in the early weeks of the season.
