Orlando Pirates vs Durban City

Orlando Pirates ground out a goalless first half before turning on the style after the break, beating Durban City 2-0 at the Orlando Amstel Arena. The Buccaneers dominated possession from the start, but needed a well-worked set piece to break the deadlock, sparking a second-half surge Durban City had no answer for. Lebone Seema headed the hosts in front in the 58th minute, rising above his marker to meet a Kabelo Kgositsile corner. Eleven minutes later, Tshepang Moremi doubled the lead, finishing coolly after a Simphiwe Masilela through ball. Durban City picked up several yellow cards trying to disrupt the hosts' rhythm, but never threatened an equalizer. The result lifts Orlando Pirates into second place, closing the gap on leaders Mamelodi Sundowns and marking their fifth clean sheet in six league games. It's a different story for Durban City, stuck in mid-table after a disciplined defensive display that produced nothing at the other end.
