Pafos needed extra time to see off a stubborn Dinamo City, winning 4-2 at Alphamega Stadium to reach the Conference League's league phase. After a 1-1 draw in the first leg in Elbasan, this return leg swung back and forth all night before two late extra-time goals finally settled it 5-3 on aggregate.
David Fadairo put the Albanian visitors ahead in the 8th minute, but Ken Sema leveled just five minutes later. Nikolas Ioannou restored Pafos' lead in the 78th, only for Ruben Richards to strike again in the 87th and force extra time. There, Nicolas Ngamaleu (116') and Anderson Silva (120+1') completed the turnaround. Several yellow cards were shown, but no one was sent off.
The result sends Pafos through to the league phase, a fitting reward for twice fighting back from behind. Dinamo City exit with heads held high after taking a stronger side to the wire, their European adventure ending one step short of the group stage.
