Twente pulled off one of their great European comebacks, turning a 1-0 first-leg deficit into a 4-1 extra-time win away at Qarabag to reach the Conference League group stage. The Dutch side looked out of the tie for long spells before an astonishing finish flipped it their way.
Kady fired Qarabag ahead in the 59th minute, but Marko Pjaca levelled the tie on aggregate in the 79th, and Max Bruns forced extra time deep into stoppage time. Wout Weghorst put Twente ahead in the 94th minute, before Younes Taha pounced on a goalkeeping error to make it 4-1 in the 114th. Qarabag's night got worse when Marko Jankovic was sent off for a second yellow in the 106th.
It's a huge night for Twente, who overturn the first-leg loss to reach the group stage. For Qarabag, it's a bitter collapse — the Azerbaijani champions dominated for long stretches only to see the tie slip away in extra time.
