Royale Union Saint-Gilloise vs Zulte Waregem

Royale Union SG and Waregem played out a goalless Pro League draw at the Stade Joseph Marien, with the sting in the tail arriving in the 75th minute when Waregem's Kiilerich saw his header ruled out for a foul on keeper Hervé Koffi, a call VAR confirmed despite replays showing little contact.

Kevin Mac Allister was booked in the 30th minute and Fedde Leysen saw yellow before half-time, while Waregem boss Michael Beale was sent off for furiously protesting the disallowed goal. Koffi impressed on his competitive debut, while Waregem keeper Louis Bostyn was the standout performer, denying both Mohammed Fuseini and Guilherme in a tense second half.
