Sparta Rotterdam vs SC Heerenveen

Sparta Rotterdam were blown away at Het Kasteel, crumbling 0-4 to a rampant Heerenveen in an Eredivisie clash that was decided well before the hour mark. The visitors settled first, and Nolhan Courtens broke the deadlock in the 28th minute, turning home a slick pass from Levi Smans from close range. Jacob Trenskow doubled the lead before the break with a low finish into the far corner, and Heerenveen kept dictating the game after halftime. Maxence Rivera cut inside to make it three, before substitute Marko Farji, teed up by Nick Verschuren, completed the rout late on. The win was only Heerenveen's second of the season after a sluggish start, lifting them into the top half of the table. Sparta Rotterdam, still searching for their first home win of the campaign, slide toward the bottom of the Eredivisie standings and now face mounting questions about their form at Het Kasteel.
