Mamelodi Sundowns pulled off a dramatic late turnaround at Mbombela Stadium, beating TS Galaxy 3-2 after trailing for most of the second half. Galaxy looked set for a huge win until a stoppage-time double flipped the result in the visitors' favor.
Brayan León opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 6th minute, but Victor Letsoalo levelled for Galaxy in the 32nd and put the hosts 2-1 up in the 77th. Sphelele Mkhulise then struck twice in stoppage time, equalizing in the 89th minute and grabbing a dramatic winner in the 93rd.
The result reversed last season's meeting between the sides, when Galaxy won 3-2. It was Sundowns' first league win of the campaign after their opener was postponed, while Galaxy remain winless following this and a 2-2 draw with Siwelele.
