USA U18 vs Morocco U18

Morocco U18 claimed a hard-fought 2-1 victory over the USA U18 on Friday evening at the XXIX Torneio Internacional de Lisboa in Lisbon, Portugal. It was a welcome response from the young Atlas Lions, who had been beaten 3-1 by hosts Portugal in their opening fixture just three days earlier. Morocco proved the sharper side on the night, twice finding the net to leave Jeremy Hall's American squad chasing the game. The USA pulled one back but ultimately could not find an equaliser as Morocco held firm. The result adds another chapter to an increasingly familiar youth rivalry — many of these players faced off at the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar, where Morocco knocked the USA out on penalties in the Round of 32. The USA will look to regroup quickly ahead of their final group match against Portugal on March 31.
