Deportivo La Coruña vs Real Betis

Deportivo and Betis shared the points in a tense Riazor draw that swung on a stoppage-heavy final act, with the hosts snatching a deserved leveler deep into the second half after being second-best for long stretches. Cucho Hernández put the visitors ahead in the 43rd minute, pouncing on a defensive mistake with an assist from Nelson Deossa. Both sides were disrupted early by injuries — Marc Bartra went off for Betis around the 12th minute, while Deportivo lost Marc Casadó, bringing on Diego Villares in the 34th minute. That substitution paid off handsomely as Villares rose to head home a left-wing cross from Mario Soriano in the 87th minute. Only two yellow cards were shown, with no red cards or penalties, despite Deportivo out-shooting their guests heavily. The draw keeps Betis third but costs them a chance to climb into second, while Deportivo stay seventh on 10 points, their winless run stretching to three matches as they head into the international break searching for their first win in that span.
